Post likers vs post commenters
Export reactions for everyone who liked or otherwise reacted (no reaction type in the CSV). Export comments for commenter profiles plus comment_body. Same post URL, two jobs, both free CSV, both up to ~3,000 rows.
Same post, two jobs
Same permalink, two jobs
Open /posts/… or /feed/update/… with a post id. Reactions and comments are separate Export actions. A company feed listing without a post id will not mount either.
What you get
Reactions: profile rows only — no reaction type column. Comments: profiles plus comment_body when LinkedIn returns text. Nested replies may be incomplete.
Which list for outreach
Commenters leave intent in the text. Reactors are a broader warm signal with less context. Many teams run both and dedupe profile_url in Sheets.
Questions.
Q01Can I run both on one post?
Yes. Reactions and comments are separate exports on the same permalink.
Q02Which list is better for outreach?
Commenters leave intent in comment_body. Reactors are a broader engagement signal without text.
Q03Reaction type in the file?
Yes, as reaction_type, when LinkedIn includes it on the reactions payload.
Q04Caps?
Both ceiling at 3,000. LinkedIn may stop earlier.
Q05Company pages that reacted?
Company URN actors are skipped on both surfaces. Person engagers still export.
Q06Private posts?
Only lists visible in your session export.
