Session identity
Listful reports a privacy-preserving identity value while your LinkedIn authentication data stays in your browser.
Why it exists
Exports call LinkedIn from your browser using your signed-in session. Listful needs a stable, non-reversible value to associate export jobs with the same LinkedIn member. See /privacy.
What is reported
The extension derives a hash from the signed-in LinkedIn member id. Listful's server receives only an HMAC of that hash. It cannot be used to reconstruct your member id or your session.
When it runs
- When you start an export.
- When the extension needs to confirm that the signed-in member changed.
- If LinkedIn rejects a request, the popup can ask you to sign in again.
How to stop
Uninstall Listful to stop identity reporting. Signing out of LinkedIn prevents further exports until you sign in again. Email support to request deletion of retained account data.
