Troubleshooting
Most failures are a URL mismatch, a stale LinkedIn session, or a webhook that was never linked to the extension.
Include your support id when you contact us — copy it from the extension settings menu or Settings.
Side panel says this page is not supported
Confirm you are on a desktop LinkedIn URL from Supported surfaces. The Listful side panel follows the active tab in that Chrome window — focus the LinkedIn tab you want to export, then click the Listful toolbar icon. Check that Listful is enabled for this profile ( chrome://extensions). The mobile LinkedIn site is not supported. Recruiter, jobs, messaging, and company home (without /people/) are out of scope.
Empty or short CSV
LinkedIn sometimes truncates a list or returns sparse cards. We export what the API returns and dedupe by profile URN — we do not invent rows. Try a narrower search, or confirm you can see results while signed in. Post URLs that lack an activity / ugcPost / share id will not recipe. Caps: Limits.
Sales Nav says invalid URL / needs a query
Lead search must include query= or #query= in the address bar. Apply a keyword or filter first, then export. Bare /sales/search/people without a query will fail the recipe.
Company posts feed will not export
Open a single post permalink (/posts/… or /feed/update/…) that exposes an activity id. A company Posts listing alone is not enough. In the side panel, choose Export all likers or Export all commenters.
No export on the company home page
Use the People tab URL ending in /people/— not the company overview or Posts feed. Same for school and showcase pages.
Wrong Chrome profile or Incognito
LinkedIn and Listful must share the same browser profile. A second profile is a different extension instance. Incognito only works if you explicitly allow the extension there and LinkedIn is signed in in that window.
Side panel says re-sign into LinkedIn
The session cookie failed validation. Sign into LinkedIn in this profile, then retry the export. Session identity details: Session identity.
Rate limited
LinkedIn or Listful applied a pause (HTTP 429 or our per-user budget). Wait and retry. We jitter between paginated calls; hammering reload will not help. If it persists, email support with the surface URL pattern — not credentials.
Excel shows garbled characters
The CSV is UTF-8. Import via Data → From Text/CSV and select UTF-8, or open in Google Sheets. See CSV columns.
Webhook did not fire
You must be signed in, have saved a URL in /settings, and have linked the extension to that account. Use the test button first. Delivery is a single immediate POST today — a 5xx on your side is not retried yet. Spec: Webhooks.
