Limits
CSV export is not credit-gated. Each surface still has a Listful pagination ceiling, and LinkedIn often stops returning pages earlier. Effective rows = min(what LinkedIn returned, Listful cap).
By surface
Caps below come from the pagination builders we ship. They are soft ceilings on how many API pages we request — not a promise that LinkedIn will fill them.
| Surface | Listful cap | Page size | LinkedIn typical | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| People search | 1,000 | 10 × 100 | ~1,000 | Filters in the address bar define the list — what you see is what we paginate. |
| Sales Navigator leads | 2,500 | 25 × 100 | Up to ~2,500 when LinkedIn keeps returning pages | Without query= or #query= in the URL, the export cannot start. |
| Post likers | 3,000 | 30 × 100 | Up to ~3,000 when LinkedIn keeps returning pages | Needs an activity, ugcPost, or share id in the URL — company feed listing pages alone are not enough. |
| Post commenters | 3,000 | 10 × 300 | Up to ~3,000 when LinkedIn keeps returning pages | Needs a post permalink with an activity / ugcPost / share id. |
| Group members | 5,000 | 10 × 500 | Up to ~5,000 when LinkedIn keeps returning pages | You must be able to see the member list in the browser (group access rules apply). |
| Company employees | 1,000 | 10 × 100 | ~1,000 (company people tab typically stops here) | Company home or Posts feed is not enough — use the People tab URL. |
| Connections | 30,000 | 10 × 3000 | Your full 1st-degree list, up to the Listful ceiling | Only your own connections in this browser session — not someone else’s network. |
| Event attendees | 1,000 | 10 × 100 | ~1,000 (attendee search typically stops here) | Needs a 19-digit LinkedIn event snowflake in the URL (or ugcPost fallback). |
People search
- Listful ceiling: 1,000 (10 per page × 100 pages).
- LinkedIn typical: ~1,000.
- Filters in the address bar define the list — what you see is what we paginate.
- Row count can be lower than the UI total after dedupe by profile URN.
- The UI result count can be higher than the pages LinkedIn returns.

Sales Navigator leads
- Listful ceiling: 2,500 (25 per page × 100 pages).
- LinkedIn typical: Up to ~2,500 when LinkedIn keeps returning pages.
- Without query= or #query= in the URL, the export cannot start.
- All Sales Nav tiers that can open people search are supported.
- Account / company lists that do not open as /sales/search/people are out of scope.

Post likers
- Listful ceiling: 3,000 (30 per page × 100 pages).
- LinkedIn typical: Up to ~3,000 when LinkedIn keeps returning pages.
- Needs an activity, ugcPost, or share id in the URL — company feed listing pages alone are not enough.
- Company-page actor reactions are skipped when LinkedIn returns a company URN instead of a person.

Post commenters
- Listful ceiling: 3,000 (10 per page × 300 pages).

- Needs a post permalink with an activity / ugcPost / share id.
- Company-page commenters are skipped (parser ignores companyUrn actors).
- Nested replies may not all appear — we export what the comments API returns.

Group members
- Listful ceiling: 5,000 (10 per page × 500 pages).
- LinkedIn typical: Up to ~5,000 when LinkedIn keeps returning pages.
- You must be able to see the member list in the browser (group access rules apply).

Company employees
- Listful ceiling: 1,000 (10 per page × 100 pages).
- LinkedIn typical: ~1,000 (company people tab typically stops here).
- Company home or Posts feed is not enough — use the People tab URL.
- School and showcase people tabs use the same pipeline.

Connections
- Listful ceiling: 30,000 (10 per page × 3000 pages).
- LinkedIn typical: Your full 1st-degree list, up to the Listful ceiling.
- Only your own connections in this browser session — not someone else’s network.
- Location is often empty on this export.

Event attendees
- Listful ceiling: 1,000 (10 per page × 100 pages).
- LinkedIn typical: ~1,000 (attendee search typically stops here).
- Needs a 19-digit LinkedIn event snowflake in the URL (or ugcPost fallback).
- Generic /events/ directory without an id will not start an export.
- Attend the event in this LinkedIn account first. LinkedIn only returns the attendee list to people who are attending.
- Some events still hide the list, depending on the event settings.

Effective rows
The downloaded row count is whatever LinkedIn returned for that session, after dedupe by profile URN, capped by the Listful pagination loop. We do not invent profiles to match the UI total. Classic people search often stops near ~1,000, the same ceiling Listful uses for that surface.
Fair use
Listful paces exports and caps how much work a LinkedIn member can run in a period. Hitting a limit pauses new pages until the window resets; partial CSVs stay downloadable when rows were already collected.
- About 300 search-style export jobs per calendar month (people search, Sales Nav search, and similar list starts).
- Global LinkedIn call budgets (shared across surfaces): roughly 25 calls/minute, 250 per 15 minutes, 1,250 per 4 hours, 7,500 per day.
- Per-surface daily page budgets where configured. Classic people search and company employees share one ≈ 450 page/day budget (same LinkedIn search action). Sales Nav lead search stays separate ≈ 950 pages/day. Exact numbers live in Listful's server limits config and may change with pacing.
These are Listful fair-use limits — not LinkedIn's own truncation (often lower). The panel shows a clear pause when a budget is hit.
Lists
Lists are free with a Listful account. These limits keep them free. A list grows only as fast as your exports (fair use above), and people leave 7days after we last saw them in an export you added, so lists shrink on their own. Your current usage is in Settings → Usage & limits.
- 20 lists per account.
- 50,000 people per list, 100,000 across all your lists.
- 100 exports added per day, by you or by auto-add.
- 60 bulk actions (remove, copy, move) per hour.
- 30 list CSV downloads per hour. Above 10,000 rows the CSV is prepared in the background and emailed to you.
- List webhooks use the same destinations as export webhooks (up to eight per account).
Rate limits
We jitter between paginated calls. If LinkedIn or Listful returns a pause (HTTP 429 or a per-user budget), wait and retry. Reloading in a tight loop will not help. Details: Troubleshooting.
